About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS Niche website at iosniche.com, including English and Chinese pages, member accounts, and paid membership checkout. iOS Niche is the operator of this site. Questions can be sent to zskathyer@gmail.com.

Information we collect

When you create an account or sign in, we collect the email address you provide, a stored password hash if you register with email, and, if you use Google sign-in, the Google account identifier and email returned by Google. We also store session cookies needed to keep you signed in.

If you purchase a membership, we record membership plan, subscription status, period dates, order identifiers, and related billing metadata needed to fulfill access. Card numbers and full payment credentials are processed by our payment provider and are not stored on iOS Niche servers.

Like most websites, our hosting and security infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP address, request time, browser or device information, and request metadata in order to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site.

How we use information

We use this information to create and authenticate your account, provide member access, process membership orders, prevent abuse, comply with law, and respond to your requests. We do not sell, rent, or use visitor information to build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party advertising pixels on this site.

Your data rights

You may request to access the personal data we hold about your account, correct inaccurate data, delete personal data, or close your account. After we verify that the request comes from the account holder, we will complete it within a reasonable time, unless a legal obligation requires us to retain certain records (for example, limited billing records).

To exercise these rights, email zskathyer@gmail.com from the same address used on your iOS Niche account, and state whether you want to access, correct, delete data, or close the account. We may ask for additional verification if needed to protect the account.

Closing an account ends sign-in and membership access for that account. If a paid period is still running, cancellation and refunds follow the Terms of Use. Language preference stored as iosniche-locale in your browser can be cleared by you in the browser; it is not an account record on our servers.

Cookies and local storage

We use an HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in, and a non-sensitive signed-in hint cookie so the site can show the member layout without flashing the sign-in screen. We may also store iosniche-locale in local storage to remember language.

Processors and hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Membership payments are processed by our payment provider (Pancake / Waffo). Google processes Google sign-in if you choose that option. Those parties handle data under their own policies when you use their services.

Third-party links

The catalog may link to App Store pages, product websites, and other third-party services. iOS Niche does not control how a third party handles information after you leave this site.

Changes and contact
